Fun & Creativity
Art
We believe that Art, engineers a spirit of creativity and expression. Every class in our centers incorporates time in lesson plans to include Art with our students. Classrooms aged 18 months and older have weekly projects that are displayed and taken home.
Music
We make sure to include music in our classrooms throughout the day. This gives our students time to let go some of their energy, dance with friends, and show every move they have! We also use music to teach, reinforce education, and to help develop language and gross motor skills.
Movement
We understand that movement is important in the development of young children. Through movement they find an understanding for awareness of surroundings, finding limits and boundaries, and exploration. Our classrooms follow a daily schedule that help facilitate their natural energy levels and allow them to be children and MOVE!
Outside Play
All centers are required by state to allow for at LEAST 30 minutes of play time a day for our students, weather permitting. We use our outside time to play with our students, facilitate healthy activities, encourage games and exploration, all while being in a controlled and safe environment.
Mathematics, Science, Reading
We encourage early math development in all classes and implement lessons during circle time daily. We encourage healthy reading habits by reading to all students and encouraging solo reading daily. In our classes from 24 months and older, we also implement time towards science and feeding the curiosity of our students. Our goal is to make sure that when they are ready for Kindergarten they have the foundational knowledge so that they can flourish.
Lesson Plans
EVERY classroom has a parent board where you will be able to follow the lesson plan and aide us in the development of our students. The personal lesson plan will show you how we incorporate education and play into their daily schedules. We also have monthly calendars that provide weekly themes and educational focuses for the center.
